Cormorants absolutely fascinate me, they seem so redolent of oily black gargoyles to me- yet one creeps close and gapes into that brilliant navy blue eye, glinting in the afternoon sunlight blazing- oh what a creature! Your poetry is always such a vivid experience for me, so familiar, such striking moments- another excellent write! Cheers,
