This haiku is very clever. It is not only visual, but it makes me feel the warmth of the day and the cushiony texture of the moss, and smell the contrasting aromas of warmed dog shit against warmed moss The darkness of that shit makes the moss all the brighter, as well as suggesting a future when the shit rots down and fertilises new moss.
Of course, you might be seeing the dog shit in a completely different light, but that’s the beauty of haiku 😉
